SPOKE IN FRONT OF THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS
In 2019 as a member of the 5000 Role Models founded by Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, I had the honor to speak in front of congressional members at the Congressional Black Caucus Event. I spoke about how elected officials cannot forget their why, they cannot forget that great power brings great responsibility, and most importantly they cannot forget the people of the United States. I also spoke about how we all have the power to create positive change in our communities, our country, and around the world.

BROTHERHOOD
We are stronger together than seperate.Through the 5000 Role models I learnt loyalty, brotherhood, unity, and teamwork. My job as a leader is not just to lead.. but to help create other leaders and to inspire those around to be great. As my mentor Dr. Marcus Bright once said, "It's bigger than me!"
44 GALA AWARDS
I was awarded for my service to others by fostering an inclusive environment for all. Everyone's voice matters and I made sure to uplift voices that were never heard as much as they should be. Such as the disabled community who needed better accessibility and advocating for their needs.

WESTPOINT
Thank you to Dean Konkol and Mike Haynie for nominating me to join the Bob Mcdonald Leaders of Character conference at Westpoint Army. I was one of two students chosen to represent Syracuse University for my leadership on campus. I appreciated this experience because I have immense respect for men and women in service and for our veterans. I recognize that their sacrifice is the reason Americans have freedom and safety.

SOCIAL MEDIA
I once got a message that my content on social media saved their life. Since then I dedicated much of my free time to create positive content on platforms such as instagram to help others and to hopefully inspire others to do the same as well.

CO CHAIRED THE LARGEST MLK CELEBRATION ON ANY COLLEGE CAMPUS
I was honored to co chair this event with Dean Konkol, the Dean of Syracuse University's Hendricks Chapel. This event is a yearly event here at Syracuse as we turn our focus toward fostering a beloved community.

BSU FOUNDER
Students at Syracuse University felt that something connecting us was missing. Deep down, we all knew exactly what it was. It wasn’t a one-person idea, but a manifestation of what we knew we needed as a people here at SU — a Black Student Union.
The revival and founding of BSU was made possible by the collective work from everyone involved. We started this organization together and thank those that came before us.

119 EUCLID
I was honored to help open 119 Euclid. It's a place where students can learn about black culture. I believe education is not just found in books or academics, it's also found in the culture and diversity within everybody around us. That is why we need to put ourselves in more spaces so we can learn from each other, 119 is helping to do just that.
